After having to postpone an earlier planned weekend, due to Covid, it was great to be able to get back to both Blackpool and to this gem of a B and B. Daz and Jo are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms and bed are so comfortable, everything you need is in the room, including shower gel. Good choice of breakfast and delicious to boot. Booked in again for later in the year. Top marks as usual and many thanks.
Daz and Jo have created a beautiful home from home. They are extremely obliging and friendly. They helped me out with directions, the loan of an umbrella and an iron and kindly arranged a taxi for me upon departure. I also got to fuss their lovely dogs, which was a huge bonus! The facilities are bright and spotlessly clean. My room had a comfortable bed and a generous supply of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, including fresh milk daily. The hot breakfast, ordered overnight, was of high quality and there were liberal supplies of juice and cereals too. Excellent value for money and I will definitely stay here again when I visit Blackpool.
Just returned home from a two night stay at La Papillon B&B. This is our honest opinion of our stay. We arrived approximately 13:00 hours Friday 18th September 2020. We were greeted by Darren the B&B proprietor. We found Darren to be friendly and very welcoming easy to talk to. Although check in was not until after 15:00 hours, Darren had previously made contact (text message) with us to advice our room was ready. Darren showed us our room (double room called Painted Lady) and briefed us on the house rules (standard to the majority of B&Bs). The room exceeded our expectations it is light and airy and extremely spacious. Solid wood bedroom furnishings with more than ample storage facilities including lots of wooden clothes hangers, a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. A massive flat screen smart tv mounted to the wall making it easy to watch from the bed or the seating area. The on suite room is also very spacious soap/shampoo provided. Also provided was a hair dryer and small cooling fan. Breakfast was (full English) hot and tasty and good quality freshly made. Darren reserved us a car parking bay at the rear of the property, sadly the back alley was a little untidy rubbish left by inconsiderate individuals, however certainly no reflection of the B&B. The B&B location was excellent just 5 minutes’ walk for the town centre, many pubs, clubs and convenient stores within a short walking distance. I have to say that we could not find fault with our stay. I have no hesitation to recommend the La Papillon, summing up a brilliant stay and very reasonably priced.
Just came back from a 2 night stay here and everything was perfect! The place is immaculate and the rooms are perfect,comfy beds,big TV's and Daz and Jo's attention to detail is brilliant! They are so friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts are first class.I've already booked up again for the new year!
Just back from one a night stay at Le Papillon. Darren gives a warm and friendly welcome and B&B exceeded expectations. It is lovely and clean throughout and you can see Darren and Jo really care. The room was lovely with some nice touches. I had the best night sleep I have had in years. The whole thing was finished of perfectly with a superb home made breakfast. Many thanks.
Good central location clean room and a nice welcome. Stayed in the family suite which has twin beds in a separate room and ensuite off the main bedroom.
Lovely B&B in walking distance to all relevant sights and good value for money! Stayed in the single room, bed was comfy, TV, kettle, tea, coffee all provided. Considering the other guests the place seems really family friendly. Owners are super welcoming and helpful! Would recommend to others and book again in future. Breakfast was ace!
Lovely clean B&B in Blackpool, handy for the shops, restaurants and pubs. Very friendly owners. The room was large, clean and tastefully decorated. Large tv and small fridge in the room. It was quiet and very good value for money. My friends and I have stayed in a lot of B&B in Blackpool this was by far the best and will definitely stay there again.
